Well, it is 95% finished so I will be blogging about the finished product soon! I just have to embroider a label, attach it, wash it, and photograph... on second thought... maybe it iwll be a week or so. HA!

I love the design process of it and the the repetitive creation of it is MY therapy.

GOOD! I am glad you had fun doing it, I just finished up the one that I was doing at the sit and sew and now I am ADDICTED! I love the fluidity of it! I am eager to get the binding done so I can start on another and get the quilting part!!

So, I sorta bought a honeybun of the retro hello betty on ebay today for $12 including shipping! I think that is good? LOL I don't care if it isn't! I just want to make something like yours with it! :) I have fat quarters of all of them that I bought months ago to make a picnic/drag-to-the-park-to-watch-my-kids-play quilt, BUT I want something with long strips and the fq's aren't going to give me that look. Thanks for the inspiration!!

See you soon!

Hey Emily,
That quilt is looking gorgeous! Oh, and that baby...so yummy. Thanks for commenting on my quilt on flickr. It's funny that you asked if it was fun because I posted on my blog that I was actually enjoying the stippling now. You must be psychic! And yes, it was a honey bun though I ordered extra of the binding fabric because honey bun strips are too skinny to bind with.

Yes, there are absolutely MANY who can relate! But your Good Folks quilt is looking AWESOME! You're stippling, right? Can't wait to see it in person when it's all done! I have to say I wasn't at all interested in the line until I saw your WIP. Got some b-day money and grabbed some eighths of 10 prints so I can do something eventually. I'm thinking once I get around to using it I may have some extra $ to get a bit of the rest of the prints. The colors are so pretty. So thank YOU, enabler! ;)

Oh man I think a lot of people can empathize with you. I need a space where I can leave a project to come back to. The only way I can do any project is to start it and finish it in a day. So I haven't done any sewing since I started work again.
